I've been busy!

I have been very busy lately, making new jewelry, taking classes at my local community college, as well as classes at several of the fabulous bead stores that I am fortunate enough to have in my area! But please stay tuned and check back often, because I intend to add new pieces to my website in the very near future! I hope you all had a wonderful summer!

Sincerely,
Lisa

I've been busy!

I really have been busy lately, making jewelry for friends, filling custom orders, bead-weaving my little heart out! I will have more custom orders to show in the next few days, but I'm just showing you all this picture right now to give you an idea of the new pieces I've done recently with ribbon. I'm sort of proud of these items, because I really don't see other beaders making these types of necklaces, so I sort of consider it my "signature" piece, and other people seem to love them! I'll make one of these ribbon or leather necklaces in one color and suddenly I have orders for several more in different colors! But that's okay; this is appealing to my creative side and I LOVE it!

I hope you are all doing well, too! I have added a few more products to my website today so I hope you'll check them out!

Latest Creations

Hi, Everyone! Well, St. Patrick's Day is upon us and my wonderful friend, Alyssa, has so graciously sent me a picture of her (wearing the necklace and earrings I made her for St. Patrick's Day) and she's hanging out with a couple adorable friends!

And in the meantime, I was also busy creating a custom baby afghan for another customer! This friend wanted a baby afghan made in bold primary colors for her little boy instead of the traditional pastels. After all, I have heard that babies see primary colors a lot easier, so this made perfect sense to me! I was more than happy to create this afghan to her specifications:

I am happily at work here, working on more jewelry and crochet/knit designs! Of course, here in Arizona we're already up in the 80 and 90 degree temperatures, so it's a wonder that I'm so in the mood right now to work on my "yarn creations", but somehow I am! Maybe the air conditioning is set too high? Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pictures and will send me any requests that you, too, may have! Please be safe and happy this St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Here's an example of one of my recent custom orders! A very good friend of mine asked me for jewelry that would help her celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Alyssa's one of my very classy, fashionable friends, so I couldn't make her anything less than sterling silver! I went to the bead store, found some lovely 4-leaf clover charms in Sterling Silver, and here's what I created for her!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, Alyssa!

Sharing my past crafts

Since I talk in my "About Me" page about all the crafts I've done throughout the years, I decided to share just a very small sampling of those here. For instance, here are pictures of the first afghan I ever crocheted. I finished it when I was about 14 years old. As you can see, the Tedster thinks it's just another one of his numerous beds! Here is that same afghan, along with a stuffed animal that I crocheted. The Tedster thinks this should be his, too. Those of you who know him well enough know how hard it was for me to hold him back!

Here's a picture frame I decorated just using some craft stone chips and glue! The picture itself was taken by my husband when we visited Rocky Point, Mexico a few years ago.
Here are a couple pictures from my oil painting classes. These two are my favorites.

For a few years, I also attended ceramic classes and made innumerable ceramic pieces, many of which decorate my house! This one is my all-time favorite piece. I hope you enjoy seeing this VERY small sampling of my crafts! Maybe someday I'll sell pieces like these, too. For now, though, I am just totally enjoying throwing all of my creativity into this website and into my jewelry, knit and crochet items!

And here's another picture of the same afghan, along with a stuffed animal that I crocheted! Of course, Teddy thinks THIS should be his, too. And for those of you who know Teddy well, you know how hard it was for me to hold him back!
